I love my house plants. It helps clear the air in my house. Some of the things I do to keep them alive: I make sure that I spray them with water. I don't only give them water. Spraying the leaves with water gets the dust off of them. I always add new soil when the soil is depleted, and I get new pots to put them in when they get bigger. Eleven cubes of storage
What it does:
This skinny cube bookcase turns a sliver of wall into real storage. Ours holds my cookbook collection. We bought a second one, because a narrow shelf tower is exactly what you need with eight people's stuff to corral.
See it all at a glance
What it does:
These clear drawers stack anywhere. Mine live in the bathroom, and they'd work under a sink, on a vanity or in the pantry too. You can see what's inside without opening anything, and stacking them doubles your storage in the same spot. We bought a second set.
A tidy shower, no drilling
What it does:
Six rustproof pieces: shelves, a soap holder and hooks. They go up with adhesive, so there's no drilling into tile. Everything gets a spot on the wall, and the edge of our tub stopped being a shampoo graveyard.
It catches the hair for you
What it does:
This little stainless mushroom sits in the tub drain and catches the hair before it turns into a clog. It comes with a stopper for baths too. Pull it out, wipe it off, drop it back in. Our drain-snake days are over.
Toothbrushes off the counter
What it does:
These little silicone mounts stick to the wall and give every toothbrush its own spot, up off the counter where it can air dry. With this many of us brushing in one bathroom, the lineup keeps the peace and the counter clean.
Pretty pots for every plant
What it does:
Six fluted planters in dark green that nest inside each other, from three and a half to seven and a half inches. Each one has drainage and its own saucer. One order potted a whole row of my plants, and the ribbed shape looks way pricier than it is.
Hanging plants, easy care
What it does:
Two ten-inch hanging pots with drainage and self-watering inserts, plus two macrame hangers with wood beads. Our pothos went up in one and hasn't looked back.
