How do I earn ExtraBucks® Rewards?
There are many ways to earn ExtraBucks Rewards. Present your card every time you shop to:
- Earn 2% back on every purchase.*
- Enjoy ExtraBucks Rewards when you purchase select items.
How do I get my ExtraBucks® Rewards?
There are different kinds of ExtraBucks Rewards: some print on your receipt when you make a qualifying purchase. Others rewards of 2% back on purchases* accumulate and pay out on your receipt, at the ExtraCare Coupon Center or through CVS.com® in January, April, July and October. To redeem, present rewards coupon and associated ExtraCare card to cashier on a subsequent transaction. Your rewards coupon will expire if not redeemed as designated on the coupon. Members who do not spend $50 in qualifying purchases or who do not otherwise reach a minimum of $1.00 in ExtraBucks® Rewards by the end of an earning period will not receive rewards and will not have earnings carried over. Members must collect their quarterly ExtraBucks Rewards, which will be rounded down to the nearest dollar, during the 45-day period following the earnings period. *Excludes alcohol, lottery, money orders, prescriptions and co-pays, pseudoephedrine/ephedrine products, postage stamps, pre-paid cards, gift cards, newspapers and magazines, milk (where required by law or regulation), bottle deposits, bus passes, hunting and fishing licenses, and any imposed governmental fees or items reimbursed by a government health plan.

You can go to the ExtraCare Coupon Center to print out special offers every time you visit. Plus, you get instant savings on sale items advertised in the circular.
CVS/pharmacy Coupon PolicyCVS/pharmacy coupons (ExtraBucks® Rewards and ExtraCare® Coupons) and Third Party Manufacturer Coupons are accepted in our retail stores in accordance with the following guidelines: CVS/pharmacy does not accept expired coupons. CVS/pharmacy will not accept third party manufacturers’ coupons with another retailer’s logo Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards. Third Party Manufacturer coupons are issued by a third party and sales tax may be charged on pre-coupon price. CVS/pharmacy does not accept coupons for items not carried in our stores. CVS/pharmacy only accepts ExtraBucks Rewards applicable to the ExtraCare card offered at time of purchase. CVS/pharmacy does not currently accept coupon bar code images displayed on a Smartphone, iPhone, Droid etc. The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction. Sales tax must be paid, if required by state law. Certain CVS/pharmacy coupons may be subject to state sales tax rules similar to Third Party Manufacturer Coupons and sales tax may be charged on pre-coupon price Language at the bottom of CVS/pharmacy coupons provides specific coupon acceptance rules. Any coupon offer not covered in these guidelines may be accepted at the discretion of CVS management.
